Haruko “Mae” Setsuda celebrated her 101st birthday today! There was beautiful cake, and everyone brought their appetite!
Craig brought his guitar and his music, with John Lequia on percussion. Craig and everyone sang some great old songs, such as:
“Ain’t got a Barrel of Money”
“Ain’t She Sweet”
“You Are My Sunshine”
“Bicycle Built for Two”
“I’ve Been Working on the Railroad”
Oh, yes! and
Mae also got some hard, cold cash … one dollar and one cent (one hundred and one pennies) in honor of her birthday.
Mae has such a youthful spirit that it’s hard to believe that she has reached this milestone. Congratulations, Mae. See you next year!
