Residents of Masonic Pathways receive three meals and two snacks a day in their choice of several dining locations. Dinner is typically served mid-day, with a lighter super menu in the early evening.
For a more formal dining experience, residents of the Michigan Masonic Home enjoy their meals in the newly remodeled Order of the Eastern Star Dining Room. Open from 6:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., residents choosing to eat in this atmosphere will find a more traditional dining experience and the flexibility of open seating throughout the day.
The Order of the Eastern Star Dining Room features a restaurant style menu with both daily specials and numerous seasonal options. Many vegetarian and gluten free options are available, as well as the opportunity to purchase special items like tenderloin and rib-eye steak, seafood and cocktails. A hostess and wait staff are always on duty to assist with seating and meal selection.
Cash is not accepted and no tipping is allowed in the Eastern Star Dining Room, but guests are always welcome and may purchase O.E.S. meal tickets at the Front Reception Desk.
Please note that there is a dress code requiring appropriate attire.
For those that prefer an informal setting, there is the Wright Place Café. Shared by residents, visitors and staff, the Café is a cafeteria style “self-serve” dining area open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
In addition to daily specials, the Café features a “made to order” grill where good old fashioned hamburgers and hotdogs, chicken and fish sandwiches, chicken tenders, French Fries, onion rings, pizza and even a plain old grilled cheese sandwich are always available.
For those who prefer a healthier option, there are always two soups and an extensive salad bar. For those with a sweet tooth and for mid-day snacks, the Wright Place Café is where you’ll find delicious muffins, cookies, ice cream and your choice of several popular warm and cold beverages.
Guests are welcome, never need reservations and may pay with cash.
For a more relaxed and private dining experience, residents of the Masonic Home may choose to eat in one of four smaller satellite dining rooms. Conveniently located within residential neighborhoods, these intimate dining areas are often the choice of those who prefer to dine closer to their living unit.
Per resident request, individual meals are pre-ordered and served at pre-established times.
Wait staff are always available to assist.
